Fantastic old country pub Excellent condition service and staff are really good great place to spend an evening with drinks meals on offer and good outside area to chill out and spend time Good views of the countryside along the Usk Valley and the Wentwood Forrest
My favourite pub in Wales. I love how they haven't tried to change itkeeping it the way it is which is cosy welcoming and always a joy to spend a few hours chatting or playing darts or pétanque. This kind of place is unique and rare now in South Wales and you know you will never be disappointed when you visit.
Great little out of the way pub. Wish they did food and had an IPA on tap but the staff were lovely and the views are amazing, a very nice place to be.

While out on a country walk on a hot day, we met a local resident who recommended we stop off at the Wheatsheaf for a drink. We took his advice and were delighted with the place. Very well-kept ales, prices reasonable, and a pleasant beer garden.
Amazing, always went out on a Saturday, from Llanenock Lodge with my brother. Today we went back out for first time in almost a yr of him leaving the place.so it was nice too go back and see the lady who owns the place, but she wasn't there, not too worry, just have to take another drive out there now we've the van to get my brother about such a lovely little pub, such friendly staff. The place is so beautiful and the surrounding area is so pretty. Everyone who lives around there is super friendly! I would absolutely love to have a little home out here! When I win the lottery.
This cosy little pub instantly teleports you back a few decades. Great vibes that are well worth a little detour if you're around. Sunny and very inviting beer garden. Great beers, but no food.
Had a Boules evening here organised by a friend in our car club. Good fun and the staff here were very friendly and provided an excellent spread of fresh sandwiches and mini pasties....lovely!!
